Remedy Entertainment just released the highly-anticipated Quantum Break earlier this year, but if the following rumors are true then they have been working on something else for a considerable amount of time.

The information was revealed via two Remedy employee LinkedIn profiles – Kyle Rowley and Mikko Rautalahti – which both now say they have been working on an unannounced project. Rowley is Remedy’s Lead Designer, with his profile noting that he has been working on this new project since last August.

There are plenty of things that we could speculate on regarding what this unannounced game could be, but I think the most obvious one that most would think of first would be Alan Wake 2. It seems a little unlikely that Remedy would be rolling out another new IP after two in a row with long gaps in between, and a sequel to Alan Wake is something that many people would be very excited for.

Quantum Break launched for Xbox One and PC on April 5th. Alan Wake originally launched for the Xbox 360 in May of 2010.
