Star Wars: Rogue One Getting Positive Reactions From Critics

Critics have been able to watch the first screenings for Star Wars: Rogue One today and the reception has been positive so far. It looks like Disney is on to another winner on their hands.

The premiere for Star Wars: Rogue One was held over the weekend and many critics had a chance to see the film for the very first time. The review embargo is not lifted until December 13th, but we have seen many reactions online and things should be fine for Disney and everyone involved in making the movie.

As reported by Heroic Hollywood, many tweets have now been posted by a lot of journalists that have seen the movie so far. A lot of the reactions are overwhelmingly positive. They say the movie is excellent and one person says Rogue One could even be better than Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It’s safe to say that the movie will not disappoint fans when it releases in North America on December 16th, 2016.

Disney in 2016 is on a huge roll as it has released many movies that have captivated both fans and critics. This year alone has seen the releases of Captain America: Civil War, Finding Dory, Zootopia and The Jungle Book. These are the four top grossing movies in the entire world in 2016. Star Wars: Rogue One is not expected to outgross the $2 billion that The Force Awakens made, but it’s sure to make a lot of money. Conservative Box Office predictions say the movie could earn as high as $130 million in its opening weekend in North America with a worldwide weekend of over $300 million.

However, these predictions were made before the online reactions dropped. if reviews are good, this might increase word of mouth so more people will be enticed to watch the movie in the cinema. After all, watching a Star Wars movie inside the cinema is the best way to experience all of the sci-fiction that this franchise is best known for. These online reactions tell us that we are in for a fun ride.
