The release of Tekken 7 is finally coming, with the game set to launch in a few months. Of course, the game will be receiving plenty of DLC after its launch, and now Bandai Namco has detailed all of its post-launch DLC. The DLC will release in three batches, starting this year and ending next year.

The first batch of DLC is set to launch this Summer across all supported platforms, which will include a new game mode and over 50 new costumes. It’s the second and third batches of DLC that will be a little more interesting, as they will each feature a new character from a different series. These batches of DLC will also come with a special stage and special costumes. The second batch of DLC will launch in Winter 2017, with the third one coming in Spring 2018.

While the DLC will be available to purchase individually, they will also be included with the game’s season pass. Those who decide to purchase the season pass will also receive 35 metallic costumes. Bandai Namco also added that “During the coming year, all players from all platforms will also enjoy free characters panels they will be able to use to customize their favourite character’s image displayed during the loading screen. Through a partnership with various worldwide artists, each player will have its own way to defy its friends and rivals!”

Tekken 7 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 2nd. It will be the first game to release in the series since 2011’s Tekken Tag Tournament 2, though it has been available to play in Japanese arcades for a couple of years now. The game’s producer, Katsuhiro Harada, has said previously that the game’s story will be much darker than ever before, serving as the finale to the Mishima clan saga. The feud between Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama will be detailed within it, providing answers to questions that fans have had for years.
