Telltale Games has released a new trailer for the upcoming The Walking Dead Collection, showcasing the work on updating the graphics of the games that are part of it. In this occasion, the video focuses on footage of the Season 1, showing a classic scene taken from the first hour of the game, in which the protagonist Lee and Clementine meet for the first time. The graphic improvement seems clear at first sight, with the most obvious changes affecting the textures and the lighting of the scene. Telltale has also mentioned that the interface of the earlier games has been reworked in order to look similar to the one for A New Frontier.

The Walking Dead Collection reunites all 19 episodes from Season 1, 400 Days, Season 2, Michonne, and A New Frontier. This is a way to build anticipation for the release next year of The Walking Dead: The Final Season, the game that will put an end to Telltale’s acclaimed series, which propelled the developer to new heights of critical acclaim and popularity. The Final Season will focus on Clementine and will have Gary Whitta, writer of Season 1, back as a story consultant.

But for now, The Walking Dead Collection will launch on PS4 and Xbox One on December 5. Watch the trailer below.
