WWE 2K15 fans should bookmark their calendars for next week because the first gameplay trailer for the game will be debuting.
The official WWE 2K Facebook page announced the following:
“FINALLY.. the world premiere of the WWE 2K15 gameplay trailer is coming, Monday morning (9/22) on IGN. Get ready!”
Presumably this is Monday morning for people in North America so this could be Monday evening or beyond for folks living outside of the continent. Nevertheless, it’s been a very long time as 2K Games never really released a proper trailer for WWE 2K15 yet even though the game is coming out very soon.
There were some unconfirmed rumors that the WWE 2K15 trailer wasn’t shown yet because WWE didn’t want 2K Games to show gameplay of the old company logo. As you may know, WWE now has an official company logo that debuted the night after SummerSlam in August. 2K Games may have needed to update the game first before showing the trailer.
Hopefully a few new wrestlers will be showcased in the new WWE 2K15 trailer next week. Only John Cena, Randy Orton, Goldust and Cesaro have been shown so far in the new game engine. It’s highly possible the trailer will also just focus on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game too…
