It appears as if the Xbox Live service is limited to many users again. It is affecting both Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners at the moment.
If you look at the official Xbox Live Status page, you will see that the services are limited on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It’s affecting me as well as I couldn’t download content when I was playing WWE 2K16. I couldn’t even play most of Rainbow Six Siege too.
The latest update says: “Hey Xbox members, are you having trouble with game invites and receiving your toast notifications? Are you running into issues purchasing certain content? Additionally, are you having an issue playing games and media you’ve purchased? We are aware of these issues and are working hard to get it fixed ASAP! Thank you for being patient while we work. We’ll post another update when more information becomes available.”
As of time of writing, Xbox Live has been down for over one hour. Hopefully Microsoft is able to get the services back online as soon as possible. Microsoft should also prepare for Christmas as a new group has threaten to ruin gamers’ Holidays by taking down Xbox Live and PSN. They are trying to copy last year’s fiasco…
