Blizzard has been known to include some of the best-looking cinematics in gaming today. StarCraft II, Diablo III, World of Warcraft, these games all feature movie quality sequences that break up the gameplay action, and today, Blizzard has revealed the opening cinematic for StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.

The first expansion pack features a new campaign that continues the story of Sarah Kerrigan, Queen of Blades, as she plots her revenge against Arcturus Mengsk. Picking up where 2010’s Wings of Liberty leaves off, the single player portion of Heart of the Swarm will feature 20 campaign missions alongside the globally renown multiplayer RTS gameplay, which has seen quite a few tweaks as well.

StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm is due to release on March 12th, 2013.
