‘He’s actually asking our sizes’: JD Vance reveals what Trump interrupted crucial meeting to ask him and Marco Rubio about

Trump needed to fix the issue immediately.

Vice President JD Vance shared a strange story about President Trump at a party last week. He told guests how Trump suddenly stopped an important meeting in the Oval Office just to ask everyone about their shoe sizes. “The president kind of holds up his hand and says, ‘No, no, hold on a second, there’s something much more important.’,” he said.

According to the NY Post, Vance said he was in the middle of discussing something serious with Trump when the president suddenly stopped everything. Trump looked at Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio and said they had bad shoes and needed better ones. He then went to get a shoe catalog. “The president is giving us four pairs of shoes,” Vance recalled. “And he’s actually asking our sizes in the middle of this conversation.”

Trump wasn’t alone with just Vance and Rubio. Another politician was also in the room, but Vance didn’t say who it was because he didn’t want to embarrass him. When Trump came back with the catalog, he started asking everyone their shoe sizes. Vance said Trump was planning to give them four pairs of shoes each and wanted to know their exact sizes right in the middle of their meeting.

Trump’s shoe obsession sparked an awkward moment in the Oval Office

Vance revealed his shoe size is 13, while Rubio wears size 11.5. The unnamed politician in the room said his size was 7, which made Trump laugh. The vice president, who has been making headlines for various controversies lately, seemed amused by the whole situation.

Trump then leaned back in his chair and told them that you can tell a lot about a man by his shoe size. This comment got laughs from the people listening to Vance’s story.

The shoe size talk brought back memories of a 2016 debate between Trump and Rubio. Back then, Rubio made fun of Trump’s small hands and spray tan during the Republican primary race. Trump got upset and defended himself on stage, saying his hands weren’t small and making suggestive comments about other body parts.

“I have to say this, he hit my hands. Nobody has ever hit my hands,” Trump exploded during the debate. “I’ve never heard of this one. Look at those hands. Are they small hands? And he referred to my hands if they’re small, something else must be small.”

Vance told his audience that most of his time with Trump is exactly what people would expect from watching TV. But he said some behind-the-scenes moments, like the shoe incident, are things he’ll remember forever. This isn’t the first time Vance’s name has appeared in unusual news recently.
