Fans of the iconic Devil May Cry franchise were a little preturbed by the announcement of the new DMC. A new look protagonist were the primary concerns, but the classic gameplay that Devil May Cry offers looks to be completely intact.
This latest trailer has Dante once again hacking and slashing his way through legions of demons. There are some interesting gameplay mechanics found in this new trailer, some which may be borrowing from other titles in the hack-and-slash space. A time slowing evasion technique looks to borrow from Bayonetta’s witch time, but if they had to borrow from somewhere, that’s a good place to start.
