Watch Dogs on PC will most likely be the definitive version, if this recent gameplay footage is anything to go by. The lead PC engineer on Watch Dogs reveals that the team has been working closely with Nvidia to make the PC version of the game better.
Outlining PC exclusive features like HBAO+ (Horizon Based Ambient Occlusion) to add richer more detailed and realistic shadows around objects, and TXAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing) to increase the visual quality with this new cinematic anti-aliasing technique.
It’s unlikely that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game take full advantage of these features only possible on high-end graphics cards, but recent reports suggest that the game will be running at native 1080p on the PlayStation 4. While Xbox One resolution is still unknown.
Watch Dogs is due out on PC May 27th, alongside Xbox and PlayStation versions of the game.
