Now that Bandai Namco has confirmed that Tekken 7 will be out on PC, Xbox One and PS4, people have been asking if it will have a Collector’s Edition. Fans are in for a treat because the team are thinking about it at the moment.

A fan asked Tekken 7’s producer, Katsuhiro Harada, on Twitter if the game will have a Collector’s Edition. He specifically wanted a statue of either Heihachi, Kazuya or Jin.

Harada replied that the team will consider it. It is fitting if one of these characters are immortalized as a statue. The game has been advertised to be the final chapter in the Mishima saga. Future Tekken games might not be about the Mishima characters anymore.

Bandai Namco has been patient with the release of the game. Instead of releasing an incomplete game, they waited until a story mode is complete and it will have well over 20 characters at launch.

Tekken 7 will be out in early 2017. It will have a robust story mode and content featured in Fated Retribution. Fated Retribution adds Akuma into the mix and the gameplay is more balanced with tweaks to the combat system.
