Xbox owners have gotten the short end of the stick this E3. They missed out on a couple of betas and demos that have generated a lot of buzz. There’s Bungie’s exclusive Alpha access on the PlayStation 4, and EA offered up a Battlefield: Hardline beta on both the PS4 and PC.
It looks like a Battlefield: Hardline beta will in fact becoming to the Xbox later this year. According to GM of DICE, a beta will be coming to all platforms.
“We will have a beta on all platforms before release, but it won’t be this beta on Xbox. It’s not going to be the same version, just to be clear,” Karl Magnus Troedsson told OXM.
Troedsson didn’t reveal when to expect the beta on Xbox, but Battlefield: Hardline is due out on October 21st.
