Call Of Duty fans can now hop on Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare or Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 and have a go at Double XP weekend in honor of the upcoming Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3.
This double xp weekend has a special significance as the official Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 reveal is set for Sunday. In the meantime Sledgehammer has announced a double XP weekend for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare that not only garners double XP but also increase chance at Elite loot drops. This will help fans gather those special pieces of customization and weapons that they haven’t yet been lucky enough to pick up. As for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2, Treyarch has announced that it will be receiving a double xp and double weapon xp. This is great for fans who want to get back into the last-gen Black Ops 2 which many still consider a great title in the franchise.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 was recently announced to have a multiplayer beta on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC by pre-ordering and has received a release date  of November 6th, 2015.
The double XP weekend will run for both games until Monday, April 27 at 10am PDT/1pm EDT.
