Capcom is keeping itself busy lately with all the announcements coming out of PlayStation Experience and a few teases by Ninja Theory that look to be a new DmC game. Now Capcom director Hideaki Itsuno has teased a new game.
All this stems from Dengeki PlayStation which featured a questionnaire where 107 game developers talked about various projects. If we look at specifics from the Capcom camp, including Hideaki Itsuno the director of Dragon’s Dogma, Minaeu Matsukawa the producer of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen and Hiroyuki Kobayashi producer of the Sengoku Basara series. Check out their statements below.
- Dragon’s Dogma director Hideaki Itsuno: “We’ve got several games in the pipeline right now. One of them is even in the last stages right now. We should be able to announce it soon.”
- Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen producer Minaeu Matsukawa: “We’re working really hard to get ready for people to learn about what we have coming up in 2015 and get them excited to play those games.”
- Sengoku Basara series producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi: “2015 will mark the 10th anniversary of the Sengoku Basara franchise. You can expect a lot of exciting announcements and developments in light of the occasion.”
This isn’t the first time we have been teased recently regarding Dragon’s Dogma. This past weekend fans found a trademark which was titled Dragon’s Dogma Online. Prior to PlayStation Experience, the Dragon’s Dogma official website had posted a news entry that teased both Dragon’s Dogma 2 and DmC 2. It has since been taken down. Hopefully fans will be able to find out what is to come out of Capcom and if the next Sengoku Basara title will make it to the west.
