Dark Souls 3 is getting some really great support from its developer. The game launched a few weeks ago and has already seen a few updates and patches to fix lingering problems from before release. Now we have a new one coming down the pipe with Dark Souls 3 Update 1.06. The patch will arrive tomorrow, April 28th for PC players on Steam. The console versions will likely see the patch hit soon as well, though there was no confirmation on a date. While we don’t have the full patch notes, we do have the abbreviated version.
Dark Souls 3 Update 1.06 will perform the following changes in the game: “The range of the matching level of the Blade of the Darkmoon and the Blue Sentinels have been adjusted. The efficiency of the following categories has been adjusted: Short Sword, Twinsword and Magic. Other game balance improvement and bug fixes.”
So a few significant shifts for the balance of the game. We don’t know exactly how much From Software has went in and tinkered with the stats for these things, but any change in balance can be huge for Dark Souls fans. And those fans are wondering whether they will be happy or sad with these changes. The big question is, are these things being boosted, or nerfed. We’ll all find out tomorrow when Dark Souls 3 Update 1.06 hits Steam.
