It’s fair to say that not many people expected Dying Light to be as good as it was. Techland’s zombie infested world was met with generally favorable reviews when it released earlier this year, becoming Techland’s most successful ever game.
We liked it, too — especially its brutal melee combat. But if you’re yet to to dip your toes into Techland’s savage post-apocalyptic universe, then perhaps a demo will entice you. Coming August 26th on PlayStation 4, a Dying Light demo will offer players the opportunity to try out the game for free.
We’re without too many more specifics, namely the length of the demo and the abilities that’ll be open to the player, but we hope for a at least an hour or two of the experience. If you’re planning on downloading the demo, it’s worth checking out Techland’s tips and tricks videos which offer, well, tips and tricks on surviving, parkour and combat.
Dying Light released in January of this year and Techland have been steadily supporting the game with post-launch DLC, the most recent of which, titled The Following, will introduce vehicles and an all new area to explore.
