Five Nights At Freddy’s 4 was originally slated to release today on Halloween, but just like with past entries, the release date was pushed up. This time was not just once, but twice, as it released back in July. However, while the game is horror themed enough, they just couldn’t miss out on adding a special Halloween update.
The Halloween update for Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 was previously revealed back in August and includes some interesting additions. According to a poster on NeoGAF, from the main menu, you will now have the option to play the original version or the Halloween Edition.
The Halloween Edition adds a cheap menu, challenges, new Nightmare characters, and a familiar mini-game. Specifically, that mini-game is Balloon Boy, which is not only in the Halloween Edition, but also in the regular edition that you can choose from the main menu too.
All of this is available in this latest update, so just make sure you have your game updated and you should have access just in time for Halloween today.
Five Night’s at Freddy’s 4 would be a great game to play on Halloween all by itself, so this is just the icing on the cake to get additional content for free for the holiday.
