The Xbox One Preview Program is bigger than ever, largely due to the massive influx of those interested with the early addition of backwards compatibility on Xbox One following E3. While the minor updates weren’t known that much before, they are a little more talked about now and the latest is now available for Xbox One Preview Program members.
The updates for Xbox One Preview Program members have been much smaller than those in the full usually monthly updates, with the last few coming as a lead-up to the August update.
With that August update coming a few weeks ago, we are in between it and the next and thus it is the first post-August update. As a result, there isn’t a ton to change here, as they are not yet ready to implement anything big. Instead, we just have a little fix here, as revealed on the private Xbox One Preview forums.
This update, known as xb_rel_1508.150825-1633, merely addresses a bug that was causing audio issues for some. They didn’t expand on how it was causing problems at all either.
Hopefully the next update will give us much more, with us possibly getting an update with some more backwards compatability games in the near future, after Phil Spencer’s tease last week.
