Square Enix has announced its Gamescom 2015 lineup and it sounds like Final Fantasy XV will have a big presence.
Square Enix’s main stage will be catered for Final Fantasy XV. There will be stage presentations for the game plus “key people” that will give us more insight to it.
Final Fantasy XV missed E3 2015 so it’s expected more exciting news will be upon us next month at Gamescom. The only updates we have had recently were new additions to the demo. The demo itself will be playable at the event.
Other Square Enix games playable at Gamescom 2015 are: Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD on PC, Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, Just Cause 3 and Life is Strange.
The new Hitman game and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will also be there, but will only appear as stage demos. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has an early 2016 release while Hitman will be out digitally first this December.
Rise of the Tomb Raider wasn’t revealed as one of the games as part of Square Enix’s lineup. This is probably because it will be a part of Microsoft’s huge Xbox lineup instead.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is also not here as more from that game will be revealed at a different event next month.
