Mass Effect 2 PS3 vs. Xbox 360 Comparison Used 2 Month Old Build

Recently we were treated to a graphical comparison by the meticulous eyes of The Lens of Truth and Digtal Foundry when they compared the demo versions of Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Recently we were treated to a graphical comparison by the meticulous eyes of The Lens of Truth and Digtal Foundry when they compared the demo versions of Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 and Xbox 360. While they may not have seen eye to eye on their comparisons, one of the devlopers over at Bioware recently posted an interesting bit of information about the comparison. The PS3 demo used in the comparison was from a 2 month old build of the game.

Chris Priestly, the community coordinator of Bioware stated that the demo that was released in December was actually using an October build of the game. And that those getting the final version of Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 will be getting a 'noticeably better experience' .

Mass Effect 2 for the PlayStation 3 will be shipping out for the console on January 18th and will be available in digital download format from the PlayStation Store from day one.

How did i know this was going to be the truth. Ohhh i know, because it was a demo that was made months ago, seriously does anyone remember the graphical differences between GoW3′s demo and the full version, i do and it was a massive change. Give the developers some more time to make everything perfect, TLoT and DF should have waited until the games release to compare the two versions graphically, they got too ansy and wanted to compare a demo with a full retail version. Do a full version v full version and we will see the difference is graphics, PS3 will have the better because they have a newer version.

Of course they will, because they can do that with any game. Graphics are great but its not a big dramatic difference. If treyarch wanted to, they would have took out the 3D from black ops and make a graphical difference. Any game can get polished like metal gear solid 2 to metal gear solid 2 substance

I do see a difference in the two, but how are we to trust the authenticity? Note the bottom picture comparisons are NOT the same, just count the words on the instructions in the background behind the figure, PS3 vs XBOX.

We all know that they Mass Effect is only on de pS3 for one reason and reaon only is becuase of monies. More money for Bioware, they should go go for exclusive when they take the money from psfanboy just lie to them then rape them for money then exclusive thats what i would do.

  Umm, why do you think GTA went to Xbox? How about RE5? And FF13? For the $$$. No one respects M$ in the gaming industry. They need to buy everything to make it multi-plat or exclusive. And in the games above they all had high production costs, and PS3 didn’t have a large enough following to break even, so yeah. Nice try!
