Halo 5: Guardians is set to be receiving its next free content update, called Ghosts of Meridian, next month, but thanks to GameSpot we get to check them both out today.

The new maps are called Tyrant and Skirmish at Darkstar, which are both on the smaller end of the maps in Halo 5. Tyrant is described as being made for Capture the Flag and Assault game types, whereas Skirmish at Darkstar is for Warzone.

This marks the fifth free update for the game since it launched last year, bringing lots of new content to the game. More details regarding the Ghosts of Meridian DLC is expected to be coming later today, so be sure to stay tuned for that.

Halo 5: Guardians launched exclusively for the Xbox One last year, bringing with it lots of new tweaks to the gameplay that have changed it a lot compared to its beginnings. Check out the new maps below.
