Become a Superhero (Or Villain) With This GTA V Mod

GTA V‘s PC release has opened the wildly popular title up to a whole new community, part of which greatly enjoys modding. We’ve already seen a couple of the first mods make their way out to the public, and the most recent offering turns the campaign’s criminal trio into unstoppable superhumans. Lingon’s super power mod enhances the strength and movement speed of Franklin, Michael and Trevor to new levels, allowing for some truly over-the-top gameplay. We’re talking “kicking SUVs across multiple city blocks” kind of crazy.

The two videos below demonstrate just exactly what happens when the character becomes endowed with god-like strikes and endurance.

So, if you’ve ever wanted to shake up GTA’s more realistic approach with a more Saints Row or Prototype vibe, this is the mod for you. That being said, you should still err on the side of caution when it comes to using these tweaks in-game. Rockstar made it clear that they will be monitoring the use of such mods. It’s hard to imagine that the developer will give too much attention to those changing the single player campaign, but if they were to make their way online it would be a whole different story. And we have seen proof of GTA Online being affected by mods already, although it was a light-hearted one that made it snow.

Still, we have yet to witness what kind of action Rockstar is willing to take against anyone who tampers with their setup. So when it comes to sprinting through the streets of Los Santos like the Flash and rocketing two-ton vehicles at police like the Hulk, keep it contained to the single player side.
