Foxconn intern students have allegedly sabotaged the PlayStation 4 during its manufacturing stage in the Foxconn plant in Yantai, China.

A forum post by qbroid on IGN provides claims made by an apparent Foxconn intern on the 28th of August, describing the reasons as to why he claims to have damaged the PlayStation 4 consoles.

Since Foxconn are not treating us well, we will not treat ps4 console well

“Since foxconn are not treating us well, we will not treat ps4 console well,” the student had said. “The ps4 console we assemble can be turned on at best.”

The same IGN forum member posted subsequent claims made by other interns, detailing the techniques of which they used to damage PlayStation consoles.

“Today when I was making a UK version of PS3, I spitted saliva into it,” one student said. “Recently a lot of accident happened and I am too scared to call my family and tell them. Our life is so cheap that no one cares.”

Other Chinese students who had posted in the forum claimed to have conducted other actions against the consoles.  Another student commented on the forum, saying that “I coughed saliva on to the motherboard and I just cover the case.”  An additional student revealed how he throws the PlayStation 4 consoles on the floor.  “I throw PS4 down every day, three together once,” the student said.

While the actions of the students themselves are unconfirmed as of yet, the IGN forum user has attempted to confirm the veracity of the Chinese Interns’ internet posts.
