As we reported earlier this week, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have made the much sought after Eon Ticket available via an online code starting today. The ticket, which allows you to catch either Latios or Latias depending on your version of the game, was formerly only available by Streetpassing someone who already had the ticket. This allowed the Eon Ticket to spread across the world via person to person sharing, but left some players without their desired legendary Pokemon if they couldn’t find people to Streetpass with. Now those players can simply enter a code to get their ticket and then share it with others as they can. To get your ticket just follow these directions:
- Start up your copy of Pokemon Omega Ruby and/or Alpha Sapphire
- Choose Mystery Gift on the main menu
- Choose Receive Gift
- Select Get with Code
- Enter the following code: 2015LATIOSLATIAS
- Load up your game and head to the nearest Pokemon Center
- Speak with the lady next to the counter
- SAVE YOUR GAME
Hurry though, the code will only work from today until Monday, March 2nd. Once you have your Eon Ticket you will be able to board the ship that takes you back to Southern Island, where you caught your original Latios or Latias during the campaign. Once there you can battle the remaining Pokemon and capture them as normal. To share your Eon Ticket with other players you just have to Streetpass with them. You’ll keep your ticket, but they will get their own.
If you have Pokemon Omega Ruby then you will get Latios during the story, with Alpha Sapphire players getting Latias. Using the Eon Ticket will get you the other Pokemon that you need.
