Thanks to an article from IGN, we know that the Xbox One version of The Division will have exclusive content. The news comes directly from Microsoft at Gamescom, Germany. Unfortunately they weren’t able to go into any more detail about what the content actually was.
Ubisoft have shown off a new trailer for Tom Clancy’s The Division however, one that focuses on the Companion Gaming aspect. It refers to it as ‘Asymmetrical’, ‘Simultaneous’ and ‘Revolutionary’ whist showing off the various buffs, debuffs and special attacks that the player behind the tablet or smartphone is capable of. A link to the video on Ubisoft’s YouTube channel can be found here.
This news joins the ever-growing list of games that Microsoft are saying will be better on Xbox One due to exclusive content, most recently Call of Duty: Ghosts and FIFA 14 both had new announcements at Gamescom. Sony have a dedicated media conference later today though, so don’t expect to only hear about Microsoft’s exclusive content. Ubisoft normally side with Sony on the content front, with games like the Assassin’s Creed series receiving levels solely on PS3.
Stay tuned to Attack of the Fanboy for more coverage from the games show in Germany.
