Just when you thought Mortal Kombat couldn’t get better, NetherRealm announced King of the Hill. King of the Hill is a mode will let groups of players play together, watch each other play, and interact with each other in a virtual cinema. The game allows avatars for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 to interact with the on-screen action by throwing things at the screen, giving fighters style points, and more.
Where many fighting games don’t even include a spectator mode, I’m looking at you MvC3, Mortal Kombat not only offers the spectator mode it, goes the extra mile by incorporating all of those interactive features. This looks like a ton of fun, and innovative to boot. Have a look at the video below, try to contain your excitement.
Mortal Kombat launches next Tuesday, April 19th, for PS3 and Xbox 360.
