After a very long wait for its many fans, Telltale has finally revealed the release date for The Walking Dead Season 3, fully titled “The Walking Dead: A New Frontier”. The game is a followup to the two hit series, which were a critical part of shaping Telltale and its episodic gaming structure. The game’s first episode will arrive on December 20th for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, with a gameplay demo being held at The Game Awards on December 1st.
“When family is all you have left… how far will you go to protect it? Four years after society was ripped apart by undead hands, pockets of civilization emerge from the chaos. But at what cost? Can the living be trusted on this new frontier? As Javier, a young man determined to find the family taken from him, you meet a young girl who has experienced her own unimaginable loss. Her name is Clementine, and your fates are bound together in a story where every choice you make could be your last.”
This is the digital premiere, but a physical disc version will come later, on February 7th. This disc will also come with extra goodies, along with all five episodes of the series.
