WWE 2K16 is out now on PC, however the launch is not smooth for everyone at the moment. A number of people cannot play the game as they are stuck on a loading screen.
Many people on Reddit have noted that they are stuck on the loading screen with Stone Cold Steve Austin on there. They cannot continue beyond that to play the game itself.
One Reddit user offered this solution: “For those stuck on the stone cold steve austin splash screen when they hit play on steam try browsing to the games install directory and running the game as an administrator. This allowed me to launch the game and on the quick test match I played I didnt encounter any obvious bugs and performance seemed decent. I’m gonna give it a proper play test and get back with any new discoveries”
It’s not just people on Reddit encountering this problem as some people on Steam are having the same type of problem too. It doesn’t sound like a widespread issue, but it has been occurring several times for many people that have bought the game on PC.
