Enter the Dominatrix was supposed to be DLC for Saints Row: The Third. Then Volition scrapped the massive expansion and announced that it would arrive as a standalone supplement to the Saints Row: The Third. In the midst of the THQ bankruptcy, those plans were cancelled.
It appears that the first Saints Row 4 DLC will be Enter the Dominatrix DLC, and it will arrive a little over a month after the release of the game. Announced this weekend at Comic Con, Enter the Dominatrix will be the first DLC for Saints Row 4, and is expected to be as over-the-top as everything we’ve come to expect from the Saints Row franchise at this point.
The DLC is said to provide some color as to why the content was cut from the retail version of the game through “behind the scenes narration”, according to a Game Informer report from a Saints Row panel at the convention.
Saints Row 4 is due out in August, with this first DLC slated to arrive in October. The game will release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, and Saints fans should not expect this title to arrive on next-gen platforms.
