Elite Dangerous is now in the final stages of testing as it has just entered gamma testing only a few days ago. Being in gamma testing means that all the features you see in the test is what you should expect for the final release on December 16th. All 400 billions star systems of it. All players who kickstarted Elite Dangerous, or were alpha, beta or premium beta testers will be able to download and play the gamma test right now!
For the rest of you who merely want the full game at release and have pre-ordered it, you can now download a free single-player tutorial demo to get your hands dirty learning some of the essential systems of Elite Dangerous. You have 19 days left to pre-order it, so do it fast!
