Loads of New Info On Metal Gear Online Suggests More Playable Characters

The Metal Gear Online Twitter page answered lots of fans giving us little more details about the game.

First of all, we already know Metal Gear Online will allow you to play as Big Boss and Ocelot. Someone asked if Raiden will be playable in the game. They only answered that they’re looking to add more characters. They didn’t want to specifically confirm or deny that Raiden will be playable. We know Raiden won’t be in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain because the single player takes place before he’s born. It would be nice if he’s added in the online component though.

There is a bullet drop feature in Metal Gear Online. However, it won’t work the same way as it does in the actual Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain video game. It will be balanced for multiplayer gameplay, so some changes will be altered.

We know Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is a large open world game. Metal Gear Online maps are said to be “fairly large”. This is good news for players that are snipers or for those that love to run around a lot.

The Metal Gear Online Twitter promised even more details are to be shared in June. The actual Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain game will be out worldwide on September 2nd, 2015.
