Mortal Kombat 9 released recently and it was unsurprisingly good. Â The game looked great, and incorporated all the trappings that the sucked down so many quarters at arcades across the nation in the mid nineties. Â Unfortunately, PSN has been down ever since the game released and I haven’t had much of an opportunity to play my copy of the game, online at least. Â Thank goodness, for the many fun and great looking modes in the game to help bide my time with the game.
Our friends at Lens of Truth recently took both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game for a spin, and what they found might surprise you. Â They ruled that the Xbox 360 version of the game (without Kratos) was the superior version of the two. Â The reviewers looked at Graphics, Â Performance, and Loading Times and came to the unanimous decision that the Xbox 360 version of the game was indeed superior in all areas. Â Most notably claiming that the game looked the most realistic on the Xbox 360.
Check out their comparison video which places the games side by side in HD displaying FPS and screen tear.
