Nintendo has revealed that Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival will have a release date of November 13th for the Wii U. The game is a spin-off of the popular Animal Crossing series, acting more as a party game than the life simulator of the originals. As the name suggests, Amiibo will play a huge part in the game, with the base set offering players a copy of the game, along with two Amiibo from the AC series and three Amiibo cards.

“The Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival game is a brand-new way to play with your favorite Animal Crossing characters. Your amiibo figures are front-and-center in this party game, and you’ll get to use them with fun content. Bring to life an expansive and dynamic board game where the board is based on the months of the year like the core Animal Crossing series. The goal? Make your villager the happiest in town and party hard with your friends.”

For $59.99 Wii U owners can get the aforementioned base set, along with the Amiibo figures and cards. Launching on the same day will be a three pack of Amiibo, with K.K. Slider, Reese, and Cyrus. A few individual Amiibo will also be offered for Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, with Tom Nook and Mabel also hitting on November 13th, and Lottie arriving a little later on November 22nd.

These aren’t the only Amiibo to come for Animal Crossing though, earlier today we got a first look at Wave 2 in the AC series, which you can check out here.
