Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare will be getting a sequel next year that will deliver more of the charming and frantic multiplayer shooting from the first game, though Garden Warfare 2 will also come packed with a solo mode for times when you can’t get a group of friends together and don’t feel like playing with random people online.
The solo mode for Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 has been detailed via a new video released by EA. In the video it is revealed that the new solo mode will allow you to play with up to 3 AI-controlled teammates throughout all of the included modes in the game. The big difference with solo mode, however, is that you can hot swap between your other teammates to quickly check out different areas of the map and provide your added personal touch when needed. Hot swapping also allows you to earn XP for all 4 of your characters in any given game, which will increase the rate of level progression for your various characters.
Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will launch on February 23, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is set after the events of Garden Warfare where the Plants have been conquered by the Zombies led by Dr. Edgar George Zomboss. The conquering has lead to the Plants’ Suburbia being taken and renamed Zomburbia, thus it is the Plants’ mission to take down the zombies and take back their home turf.
