Ubisoft has announced a new VR video game that is based upon the Star Trek franchise. It is not a single player experience either as up to four players can join in.

Ubisoft released a cool video of former/current Star Trek actors playing the game in VR. They are inside the cockpit of the Enterprise and they have to do different roles.

One person is the captain while the others are helping out. You have to work as a team in order to fight off other enemy spaceships and more. It looks like it could be the ultimate experience for Star Trek fans.

The full game is called Star Trek: Bridge Crew. It will be out in Fall 2016 for the PSVR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Video description says: “Watch as Star Trek alums Levar Burton, Jeri Ryan, and Karl Urban reveal and play Star Trek: Bridge Crew for the first time and discover the immersive Star Trek experience in Virtual Reality (VR). Developed specifically for VR, Star Trek: Bridge Crew is the only game to offer a true-to-life level of immersion in the Star Trek universe, where- as officers of the Federation- every action and decision you make together will determine the fate of your ship and crew.
