Even though Ubisoft’s The Division recently received the massive 1.4 update that drastically overhauled the game, that doesn’t mean they still aren’t hard at work when it comes to making everything run smoothly. The release of the 1.5 update is on the horizon, and now they have shared some information on what to expect from it.
One of the biggest issues that people have had since the 1.4 update is the lag that is present in the Xbox One version of the game, which is very prevalent in the game’s Dark Zone. Ubisoft Massive claims that the 1.5 update will fix those issues, as well as fixing the UI lag. However, the issue of delays when performing Survivor Link and First Aid healing are still being looked into.
Update 1.5 will be getting a PTS (Public Test Server) on PC, though the developer continues to try and get the same process to work on the console versions of the game. A release date for when the PTS will go live was not detailed, but more information is expected to be coming soon.
The Division is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and you can check out the dev diary commemorating the big 1.4 update by clicking right here.
