We’ve gotten another pair of games added to the Xbox One backwards compatibility catalog this week, though this time the selection of games aren’t as big as what we got yesterday. This time we’re getting Guardian Heroes and Operation Flashpoint: Red River, which are now both available to play on Xbox One.

The news was once again revealed by Xbox’s Major Nelson on Twitter, with Guardian Heroes being a port of the Sega Genesis beat-’em-up and Operation Flashpoint: Red River being a first-person shooter. Guardian Heroes will be waiting for you to download if you owned it on Xbox 360 (it was a digital-only release), whereas Red River is also backwards compatible by popping in your disc into the system.

As for the other two games we got this week, they were none other than the highly-requested Mass Effect 2 and 3. These games being made backwards compatible was done to line up with Mass Effect’s N7 day, which is the day where we got a lot of new information on Mass Effect Andromeda.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer recently chimed in on the backwards compatibility progress for Xbox One, saying he’s happy with the progress they’re making. You can learn more about that by clicking right here.
