The first Global Mission for Pokemon Sun & Moon has been revealed and is now live, and it tasks the world with catching a heck of a lot of Pokemon. Starting from now up until December 12th, players across the world will need to cumulatively catch 100 million Pokemon.

Global Missions are set through the Pokemon Global Link, and successfully completing them will earn the players Festival Coins. This particular mission will reward each player with 2,000 Festival Coins if it is completed, though the consolation prize is 100 Festival Coins. If you’ve got the game then it’s time to start hunting some Pokemon.

You can gain access to this by talking to the lady at the desk in the castle at the Festival Plaza, with your progress being updated each time you Game Sync.

It was recently revealed that Pokemon Sun & Moon enjoyed the biggest Nintendo debut ever in the UK, which you can learn more about by clicking right here.

Pokemon Sun and Moon are available now exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
