Action-RPG Bastion has finally made its way to Xbox One, bringing developer Supergiant Games’ critically-acclaimed game to even more people. However, the developers have also revealed a deal for those who own the Xbox 360 version of the game, as those people will be able to get the Xbox One version for free for a limited time.

Grabbing your free copy of the game is very easy, as all you have to do is go to the Xbox Store while logged into the Xbox Live Account that purchased the Xbox 360 version of the game. Once you’ve done that and gone to the Xbox One version’s page you will be able to download it for free. Keep in mind that this offer is only available for a limited time, with the deal coming to an end on January 1st. After that you’ll have to pay the standard $15 in order to get the game.

The Xbox One version of Bastion will feature several improvements over the original version of the game, which includes the likes of improved resolution (1080p up from 720p), new achievements and it all comes packed with the Stranger’s Dream DLC. This puts it in line with the release of the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game, which released on those platforms last year.

Bastion proved to be a very promising start for developer Supergiant Games, as they then went on to develop the critically-acclaimed Transistor. Transistor was a console exclusive to the PlayStation 4, though it did also come to PC and iOS. Their next game is also set to be a console exclusive to the PlayStation 4 with Pyre, which is set to be taking things in a new direction for the developer. The game’s combat takes a more sports-like approach as each team attempts to send a glowing orb that starts at the center of the arena into their opponent’s pyre, with the game itself set for a 2017 release.
