PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is just a week away from its first console release on Xbox One. To celebrate the title, Microsoft has teamed up with the PUBG team to offer some exclusive and limited edition cosmetic items for your in-game character. We just got our first look and details on how to get them.
Things kick off on launch day, December 12th, with the release of the PUBG Warrior Pack. This exclusive pack contains a balaclava hat, camo t-shirt, pants and tennis shoes. Two more packs will follow on December 14th and December 21st. The PUBG Accessory pack will hit first with the PUBG track suit pack following on the 21st.
The Warrior Pack will cost $9.99, while the accessory and track suit packs will be available for $4.99 each. Each pack will only be available for a couple of days, so buy them while you can. These cosmetic items are highly sought after on PC, so we could see the same on Xbox One.
“These packs are exclusive to Xbox fans as standalone offers available for a limited time and as there are no plans to feature any in-game purchases in the Xbox Game Preview version, are the only items that can be purchased during the preview period,” explains Microsoft.
PUBG will also be getting a brand new map soon, which will release across PC and Xbox One versions of the game.
