Team Ninja is getting ready to ship Dead or Alive 5, but they’ve also got something else to reveal at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.  A recent tweet from their official Twitter account revealed the upcoming announcement.  The new title will be console based, but little else is known about what it might be.

Dead or Alive 5 is getting ready to release later this month on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.  The developer also has a Wii U version of Ninja Gaiden 3 on the books for later this year as well.  Maybe it’s a brand new IP from Team Ninja?

Tokyo Game Show starts on September 20th and runs through the 23rd, where we’re likely to hear more out of Team Ninja among others at Asia’s biggest Games Expo.
