Nicole Kidman’s daughter just showed the warning text her mom sent before something wild happened at a Sabrina Carpenter concert

Who could've seen that coming?

Nicole Kidman’s daughter Sunday Rose gave everyone a look at a funny text message her mom sent her before something unusual happened at a Sabrina Carpenter show. The 17-year-old shared screenshots of their conversation on Instagram Stories, showing what her famous mother told her right before she got pulled into the concert in Nashville.

According to People, Kidman went to see Carpenter perform in Nashville, Tennessee. At the show, she became part of something the singer does at her concerts where she picks people from the crowd and pretends to arrest them with pink fuzzy handcuffs. It’s a regular thing Carpenter does during her Short n’ Sweet tour.

Right before going down to the stage, Kidman texted her daughter saying, “Hi Baby, I’m heading down to be arrested.x.” She sent this message just a few minutes before Carpenter put her in handcuffs for being too hot. Sunday Rose also put up a video of what happened and wrote “someone’s in trouble” over it.

This has to be one of the funniest mom-daughter text exchanges ever

When Carpenter saw Kidman sitting in the crowd, she talked about the actress’s well-known AMC Theatres commercial. “We come to this arena for magic, right?” Carpenter told the crowd as everyone looked at Kidman and clapped loudly. The singer then made a joke, saying, “I expected to find love but not my soulmate.”

Carpenter did what she normally does and asked Kidman to tell her name and where she lives. Then she said, “But you live in Nashville, so if things work out between us, then I guess I’m moving to Nashville.” The 26-year-old singer also brought up Kidman’s 2024 movie Babygirl and said, “You’re so Babygirl, I don’t know what to do.”

After that, Carpenter asked Kidman if she wanted to be her “Juno girl” for the night before giving her the pink handcuffs. She sang her song Juno from the Short n’ Sweet album just for Kidman. While this whole thing at the concert was just for fun, other performers have had more serious problems with people in their audiences.

This concert happened at an important time in Kidman’s life. People magazine said on September 29 that she and her husband Keith Urban had split up after being together for 20 years. The day after everyone found out about their breakup, Kidman filed papers to divorce Urban. They have two daughters together, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, who is 14 years old.

Sunday Rose walked in her first fashion show at Miu Miu last fall and has been posting things from her life online. Last month, she shared photos from Paris Fashion Week with a relaxed picture of her mother in them. Kidman also has two other kids, daughter Bella who is 32 and son Connor who is 30, from when she was married to Tom Cruise. Things involving arrests at concerts don’t always turn out as fun as this one did, like when country singer Todd Snider ended up in the hospital and then got arrested.
