Destiny 2 Shadowkeep – How to Open Chests With Symbols

If you’ve been exploring the Moon in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep you’ll have likely come across chests that you can’t open that have strange symbols on them.  These chests can be opened by completing a puzzle.  That puzzle requires that you find and shoot the symbols on the chest.

Look for the Symbols and then shoot them in the correct order

You’ll want to look around the chest to find the symbols to shoot.  Sometimes they are on walls or hidden in corners, and aren’t always easy to see.  What you are looking for is a circular object with the symbol on it.  When you shoot it the object will start to emit a green smoke.  This is the signal that you’ve done this in the correct order.

Chests with symbols are not always in the same spot so keep an eye out for new chests as you explore the moon.  In these chests you’ll find plenty of Glimmer and like a Blue Weapon or Gear item.
