Forza Horizon 5: Best Starting Car – Stingray, Supra, or Bronco

Recommended Videos

Forza Horizon 5, much like other racing games, hits the road revving by offering players 3 starter cars at the beginning of the game. It can be challenging for players to pick just one car from the three. Do you pick on style? Or should you take the fastest one? Or the one that performs best in all terrains? Here’s the Forza Horizon 5 best starting car.

Forza Horizon 5 comes out tomorrow, Nov. 5. So, if you didn’t get to play it early, don’t worry the finish line is in view. It will also be released as a day one Xbox Game Pass release. The game is set in Mexico and will feature a massive open world to discover and explore. With 11 diverse terrain types, what starter car is the best to use?

So here’s the catch: if you were anxious about picking one car and losing the others, don’t worry. While you’ll need to pick a car to start the game, all three starter cars will be available in your Garage. In order to switch cars, all you have to do is drive to the Garage at Horizon Festival. From there, select My Cars, pick the car you want, and then press Get In Car. With that relief out of the way, what car should you pick first?

Forza Horizon 5: Best Starting Car

Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray

  • Class: S1
  • Speed: 6.5
  • Handling: 7.8
  • Acceleration: 7.2
  • Launch: 7.8
  • Braking: 6.2
  • Offroad: 4.9

A well-rounded car, the Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray is for drivers who love power and speed. Decent in most areas, this is a great starter car.

Toyota GR Supra

  • Class: A
  • Speed: 6.8
  • Handling: 6.5
  • Acceleration: 5.5
  • Launch: 5.8
  • Braking: 4.8
  • Offroad: 4.1

The Toyota GR Supra is a Japanese sports car known more for its capacity to drift. Just a bit better than the Stingray in speed, the Supra is a starter car for drivers looking to burn some rubber.

FH5-FORD-BRONCO-START

Ford Bronco

  • Class: B
  • Speed: 5.6
  • Handling: 3.4
  • Acceleration: 7.8
  • Launch: 3.7
  • Braking: 4.4
  • Offroad: 8.1

Unlike the other cars, the Ford Bronco’s specialty is off-roading. So while not as great as the Stingray or the Supra as a starter car right out of the gate, the Bronco is a necessary tool for any driver’s arsenal to be a well-rounded racer in any terrain.

Nobody forgets their first car, but there are plenty of better cars as players progress through the game. Though these starter cars can be upgraded and customized to your heart’s content, there are many more cars to be excited about in Forza Horizon 5. Now you know which Forza Horizon 5 best starting car you will choose.

Forza Horizon 5 will be available Nov. 5, 2022, on Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, and PC.
