Ghost Recon Breakpoint: How to Hold Breath

In Ghost Recon Breakpoint holding you can hold your breath to get a better shot.  The way that it works in Breakpoint is a little bit different than other games.  While a lot of games have your breath holding tied to the thumbstick, Breakpoint requires that you use the Left Trigger instead.

Press and hold the Left Trigger and slightly release to hold breath

Breakpoint calls this Breath Control and it’s used with the same button that you use to aim down sights.  If you press and hold the Left Trigger you will just aim down sights.  If you want to hold your breath for less sway and a more accurate shot you need to slightly release the left trigger.

When you are using breath control you will hear a heartbeat sound effect, you will zoom in slightly longer and the screen will black out on the edges.  You will instantly notice that you have a more accurate shot, but this isn’t unlimited.  You can only hold your breath for a certain amount of time.

There is a perk that will increase your breath control in the Sniper Perks that increases breath control by 100%.  The Sharpshooter Class also features longer breath control than other classes.
