Ghost Recon Breakpoint: How to Slide

You’re going to be doing a lot of running in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and there are going to be times where you’ll want to slide to get out of harm’s way.  You can slide in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint but it’s a little different than other games.

Holding B/Circle while running will do a face first slide

In Ghost Recon Breakpoint you can hit a slide while running but you’ll do a face first slide which makes you go into the prone position.  To do the slide, you must be running and you will hold the B B Button (Xbox Controller) or the Circle Button (PlayStation 4).

The same button also does a roll move if you double tap it whether running or standing still.  If you just hold B/Circle when standing you will go into prone position you just won’t slide down.  There are plenty of situations where you might want to use the slide tactic.  If an enemy starts shooting at you is one, for example.  Another is if you want to stay unseen by enemies.  You can go prone and use the stealth camouflage to stay hidden while prone.
