After escaping the whole fiasco that went down at the Chelsea Tunnel, you’re now infiltrating the Orchard Hotel. Here, you’re further pursuing The Voice, the leader of the Court of Owls. He isn’t making this chase easy, especially since there’s some stealth to perform, members to take down, and a puzzle to solve. So what is the solution to this platform puzzle in the Masquerade in Gotham Knights? How do you dive further into the walls of this hotel?
What is The Masquerade Puzzle Solution in Gotham Knights?
Once you get through most of the stealth and combat, you’re going to be in a room with four buttons. As you’ll notice, they are all accompanied by a landmark in Gotham City. The character you play will make a bit of a remark about the dates on which they were built.
As their remarks suggest, you have to step on each button in the order of dates. The four dates of these buildings go in this order: 1836, 1841, 1842, and 1877. To match that with each building, we have a screenshot so you can press the buttons in the right order. This is taken from the angle from which you walked into this room. Once you solve this puzzle, the story will progress.
Without giving away what happens next, all we can really say is that this will lead to a big turning point in cracking Batman’s last case. While you may find the answers you’re looking for, this is only the beginning of something much deeper.
Luckily for the rest of the mission, you won’t have to do any sort of problem-solving or anything that can slow down the pacing of the game. It’ll be standard gameplay until later on. However, you still may want to take your time on these missions as you cannot return to certain locales. You can stockpile materials from chests so you can use that to craft better gear upon mission completion.
Gotham Knights is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
