How to Craft Gear in Gotham Knights

Recommended Videos

As part of the RPG elements in Gotham Knights, you can craft gear in the game. It’s going to be a vital way in making sure that your character’s stats are up to snuff as you slowly progress through the game’s levels. Missions and enemies will scale based on your level to an extent, but that will only get you so far. Here’s what you need to do so you won’t lose.

How to Craft Gear in Gotham Knights

You will have access to crafting gear as soon as you can get to the Workbench back in the Belfry. This should be accessible right around the time you finish the second part of Batman’s last case, quite literally at the same time as when you get access to Multiplayer.

In order to actually start crafting, you need to have materials and blueprints to do so. Blueprints will naturally be given to you based on your overall progression with the main story, side quests, and challenges. These will oftentimes have stats that are better than those provided at the end of quests and challenges.

As for the materials, these can be found by defeating enemies and looting chests all over Gotham City. Earlier pieces of gear will obviously be cheaper in terms of material costs. As you progress further in Gotham Knights, there will be additional resources to find. Higher-leveled gear will cost newer and rarer resources.

There’s a natural progression to how many resources you get. Additionally, if you loot every chest during story missions and stop premeditated crimes, you’ll have more than enough to never run out. The game rewards you greatly for searching through every nook and cranny.

Finally, if you want to have an abundance of resources, complete as many side objectives as possible. You are rewarded not just with more experience points, but also resources. This can greatly ensure that you can swap out characters and build new gear for them to be up to level with your highest!

Gotham Knights is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
