Fashion Week in Pokemon GO has begun and with it variety of challenges and rewards are up for grabs. Fashion Week has a brand new Timed Research and Field Resarch tasks where one of them is to take a snapshot of different Pokemon in the wild. Doing so will allow you to complete the Fashion Week Timed Research or the event-exclusive Field Research Tasks.
How to Take a Snapshot of Shinx, Blitzle, Furfrou or Butterfree
Taking a snapshot in Pokemon Go is fairly straight forward. Simply navigate to the buddy screen in your Pokemon Storage and click the Camera Icon. You can get there by tapping the Pokeball at the bottom of the screen when adventuring, tap Pokemon, tap the Pokemon you want to take a picture of and then tap the camera icon in the top right of the screen. If you want to take a snapshot of Pokemon in the wild you can do so when an encounter begins. Simply tap the camera icon once you’ve begun an encounter and this will be considered taking a snapshot in the wild.
To complete the Field Research task of taking a snapshot of Butterfree, Blitzle or Furfrou in the wild you’ll need to remember to tap the camera icon when encountering these Pokemon. During Fashion Week this should be easy as Butterfree, Kirlia, Skitty, Glameow, Groagunk, Blitzle, Gothita, Frillish and Furfrou will be appearing in the wild. There is going to be some luck involved with encountering these Pokemon. The best way to do this is by walking around and trying to find them. If that doesn’t work you can always try to use an item that can help like Incense or a Lure.
As for Shinx, there is one way that you can use to get a snapshot. Shinx is a Tier 1 Raid Boss during Fashion Week, along with Sneasel, Croagunk, Scraggy and Furfrou.
As the event continues you’ll need to take snapshots of other Pokemon to complete the tasks, simply use the method described above to do so.
