Rage 2 How to Get BFG 9000

The BFG 9000 is one of the items that Rage 2 Deluxe Edition owners will get for the game.  This powerful weapon from Doom has made its way into the world of Rage 2, but you’re going to have to seek the gun out if you want to use it.

Assuming that you own the Deluxe Edition of the game you will find the BFG 9000 located outside of the Vineland area in the Twisting Canyons Region.  Upon coming to this area for the first time you will see a meteor strike the ground.  To collect the BFG 9000 you simply need to head over to the meteor location and explore it to find the gun.

If you somehow missed the meteor crash, there isn’t an icon on the map for the weapon.  You can use the map below to find the exact location the BFG 9000

How to get ammo for the BFG 9000

Unfortunately, the BFG 9000 as you find it won’t have much ammo.  If you want to use the weapon, you’re gonna need ammo for it and the only place to get that is in Wellspring.  The Region Hub has a ammunition vendor named Yin BonBon.  Her store is in the town center near city hall and has big BOOM sign on it.  She’ll sell you ammo for the BFG 9000 for $1000 a piece.
